An elongated ovoid dinanderie vase. The narrowed neck is highlighted by a delicate geometric frieze of silvered zigzags (or chevrons), above a body adorned with a rich mottled red, brown, and copper fire-patina.

The center of the body is encircled by a wide, horizontal brick-red band, delicately inlaid with a continuous pattern of silver-toned scrolling volutes. Spherical shaped dinanderie vase. The central part is decorated with a geometric pattern consisting of large dark triangular points contrasting against a finely speckled gray and brown patinated body. The neck is highlighted by a delicate frieze of small silver-toned diamonds. All of the designs and nuances are achieved through the dinanderie technique, made from sheet metal. Signed « CL.Linossier ».
