Crafted from sand-cast bronze (probably by Florentin Godard), this dark patinated proof depicts a standing female nude in a subtle “contrapposto” pose, her hands clasped behind her back and her hair pulled up. The body displays a harmonious architecture of full, opulent volumes, combining gently curved forms with geometricized synthetic contours. The figure stands on an integral low bronze terrace base.
Unsigned. Stamped inside the base with "KH" and "IIII" in relief; bears the Alfred Flechtheim Gallery label (Berlin / Düsseldorf).
