Stool in Macassar ebony with brass nails is distinguished by its geometric lines, notably marked by an asymmetrical and off-center central structure beneath the seat. Its base rests on two parallel horizontal runners protected by an industrial rubber coating. The square seat is upholstered in a light-colored fabric.

Unique piece.

André Sornay discovered industrial rubber in the 1920s, until then exclusively used for car step plates, employed by him later for the bases of furniture as a protection against knocks caused by the domestic appliances of the modern age.

Walnut armchairs with geometric lines, notably characterized by solid wood sides with angular cuts. Their high and slightly inclined backrest fits dynamically into this imposing cubic structure. Pair of pedestal ashtrays in solid walnut with hollowed-out faces. Its upper part accommodates a removable brass receptacle integrated into the center of a square top.
