Architectural console table featuring an inverted trapezoidal central pedestal, crafted from a combination of walnut veneer, rosewood, and mahogany. The front facade incorporates a top drawer fitted with a square brass pull, positioned above a solid door. The piece is crowned by its original overhanging rectangular black marble top and retains its original key.
This piece has been created before the nails patent so before 1932. The pre-cloutage production featured strongly built pieces of furniture characterized by their simple lines, constructed in accordance with traditional cabinetmaking practice. At this period most production is 'on order'.
