Set of four modernist armchairs featured a structured framework made of bent tubular chromed steel. The angled rectangular backrest and padded seat, upholstered in a light fabric, are suspended airy-like within the metal frame. The horizontal armrests extend into a continuous, fluid line forming both the front and rear legs.

André Sornay completed the prototype of a tubular metal chair with the help of a well-equipped locksmith probably as early as 1928, for at this time his factory did not have a mechanical bender. « Lead was inserted into the tube at the various bending points. The overall tubular structure features two other distinct elements that were joined beneath the seat. »

Walnut armchairs with geometric lines, notably characterized by solid wood sides with angular cuts. Their high and slightly inclined backrest fits dynamically into this imposing cubic structure. Pair of pedestal ashtrays in solid walnut with hollowed-out faces. Its upper part accommodates a removable brass receptacle integrated into the center of a square top. This piece has been created before the nails patent so before 1932.
