A fragmentary sculpture in the round crafted from chamotte clay, depicting the lower torso of a female figure from the waist to the mid-thighs. The composition is defined by a heavy draped fabric knotted at the front of the hips, with deep folds falling along the sides of the legs. The raw, textured surface of the clay emphasizes both the anatomical modeling and the sculptural volume of the drapery. The piece is mounted on its original, geometric rotating oak base.

A fragmentary sculpture in the round depicting the nude torso of a young woman. Crafted from chamotte clay, which gives the surface a raw, textured appearance, the piece is styled in an antique manner, headless, armless, and cut at mid-thigh. The sinuous line of the waist and a slight contrapposto impart a natural, flowing movement to the body. The sculpture rests on its original, slightly stepped cubic fir wood base. Signed in hollow with the monogram "L.I." and dated 1920.
