An elongated ovoid vase with a flared neck made of Daum Frères glass blown into its wrought-iron mount of Brandt. The mottled intercalary glass body features rich amber, golden, and deep brown inclusions. The middle of the body is encircled by a wide, openwork metallic band decorated with a continuous, elegant frieze of spiraling volutes interwoven with stylized foliage and berries. The vessel rests on a circular pedestal foot highlighted by a row of wrought-iron beads, sitting atop a stepped base with concentric rings.
Signed "Daum" and "Brandt".
