Trapezoidal console in Indian rosewood. The composition is punctuated by two imposing flared side supports enclosing an intermediate shelf and crowned by a large top surface, both made of Soignies stone. The entire piece rests on a solid horizontal mahogany base.

Unique piece.

This piece has been created before the nails patent so before 1932. The pre-cloutage production featured strongly built pieces of furniture characterized by their simple lines, constructed in accordance with traditional cabinetmaking practice. At this period most production is 'on order'.
