Architectural occasional table with an asymmetrical design crafted from solid walnut. It features a main open-shelved module with an overhanging middle shelf. The rectangular top surface extends over the structure, complemented by a cantilevered semicircular side shelf protruding from the flank.
This piece has been created before the nails patent so before 1932. The pre-cloutage production featured strongly built pieces of furniture characterized by their simple lines, constructed in accordance with traditional cabinetmaking practice. At this period most production is 'on order'.
